Because I am selling off a lot of my jewelery that I no longer wear to pay for my disabled son's dr bills. What is it to you? There are more important things in life than a college sorority, my son's health being one of them. You should worry about yourself and stay out of other people's business.

Looks like she won't be making much from eBay -- the badge did not sell.
Out of the 23 items she listed, she sold 4 of them for a grand total of $3.26.

I'm not surprised. That badge retails for $20 at headquarters. I'd like to rescue a badge, but not for a 250% markup.
