I love how the photographer positioned the guard as two backwards "L's" instead of two Gammas.
And cool jewel pattern too.

I do hope a sister won that badge. I have a friend who was a gamma gamma and lost her badge. She would love to replace her badge, but it's not in her budget. I keep an eye out for gamma gammas for her, I missed this one. The jewel pattern is definitely unusual, any idea how old it is? There was a period of time where there was a lot of custom work being done in Indianapolis, so occasionally you can find an older Sigma Kappa badge from an Indiana chapter that's a little different.

Looks to me (in my very limited badge knowledge) to be between the 1930's and 1960's. If it was from the early 30's or before, the enamel would be different on the triangle (once again, only from what I've seen). I'll keep an eye out for you in the future if I see any Gamma Gammas.
*Rather, let's guess this pin is from the 1950's or 1960's... as apparently this chapter was founded in 1951.

So, I was supposed to get my pin last semester, but there were some issues and I ended up getting a pin on loan. However....
I FINALLY GET MY PIN AND CHAPTER GUARD TOMORROW!!!

My daughters badge finally arrived. The chapter advisor has them, so my guess is they will receive them Sunday at chapter. A picture will follow shortly there after.

I love it! Worth the wait - but you must be so happy to finally have it. I really love the ASA badges with the rubies....

That. Is. GORGEOUS.
The Chapter guard is really awesome. I like how you can see each letter - they're not "stacked" (not the right word, but I *think* you know what I mean).
So happy for you.

One more picture My badge in my pin box, set next to a plain badge. The gemmed one is so much bigger!

I'm glad you finally got to use that dangle! Seems like you've had it forever. You're badge is beautiful. So shiny.
