Good luck, Tom. Fight the good fight. Keep the faith.

AGD1978, I will keep you in my intentions. Here's something I do every day, often. I look up at the sky, and I remember there are stars, I just can't see them. I'm on a tiny dot spinning in the middle of an immense cosmos. I find that comforting. Whatever I'm facing is just ego. It puts everything in perspective rapidly. Works for me.

So does putting people on ignore.

Thumbs up

Thanks! A little perspective always helps, and good intentions. But I can't seem to find my "Like" button for the part about putting people on ignore...

Will be Keytruda to see how that works. Injection every 21 days. Then a C T to seem if reacts in a + way.

If after a few tries, then next step is Keytruda with Chemo. If that is a no joy, want to try something else, LOL!

So, I guess time will tell. After 3 other Cancers, I hope this will be the last, one way or the other!
Tom,

One of my co-workers has been on Keytruda and has had incredible results. I hope you fare as well as she has! Best wishes~

For NinjaPoodle, Phrozen Sands, and AGD1978, an excerpt from "A Brave and Startling Truth". I am certain you know the author of this magnificent poem. I purposely offer only the opening two stanzas. I know you'll get it.

"We, this people, on a small and lonely planet
Traveling through casual space
Past aloof stars, across the way of indifferent suns
To a destination where all signs tell us
It is possible and imperative that we learn
A brave and startling truth

"And when we come to it
To the day of peacemaking
When we release our fingers
From fists of hostility
And allow the pure air to cool our palms"

Keeping you close until the time we all finally learn this truth.

OMG. Somehow I missed that you are suffering from cancer. I was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. CANCER SUCKS. Hope the Keytruda works (I've never heard of it).

keytruda is one of the emunotherapy drugs. Another is Opdivia that are for Lungs strictly.
So pin pointing LUNGs only. This is a Clinical trial so the maker pays for their drug saving my Insurance money thank goodness!!

Injection every 21 days, then everyso often a C T scan to see how cancer is doing.

After so many Keytruda only, if no + results, then change things up a bit! Keep asking them but all I get is BLA, Bla ,Bla. You know, they never talk English, they talk Dr. Nurse!

So I just say, what the heck, lets just do it!

So, tell your friends and Family, just go get Blood Tests. They work wonders and if a problem, get a head start on any problems!!

Luckily they say I can eat things that I love, LOL!

Oh, I envy you that! I love sushi, steak tartare, and raw oysters, but I'm immunocompromised, so no raw meat or fish for me until I'm done with the chemo. (When I am cleared for raw meat and fish, I'm going to hit every single oyster bar in New Orleans. And there are a lot of them. LOL)

The phrase, "these ones" bugs me to no end. I first heard it on a YouTube video my son was watching. He and I both laughed at the guy for using it; we thought he was being funny.

I'm realizing now, however, that people aren't using it to be funny. They really say "these ones." As in, Person A: "Which hair ties should I use?" Person B, handing a couple hair ties to Person A: "These ones."

Trump is the biggest bullshitting president we’ve had in our entire presidential history, no question about it. I have learned to accept the fact that our country patronizes and honors rapists and racists by placing them on our currency, but the fact that it’s 2020 and our country votes and keeps this racist, dumb fuck in office, I just can’t get past. And here’s the kicker. He’s still in office. If they are not going to REMOVE this piece of shit from office, then they can take the “impeachment” and shove it up their asses. Impeachment is NOT removal. They KNOW if this was Obama, he’d have been IMPEACHED and REMOVED LONG AGO! I’d say Trump supporters even know this to be true, but they’re too fucking stupid to get it. Just sayin....

I BOW to you for your knowledge and thank you for the great post!

I have consistently said, that Trump did not win on merit, He Won on the Anti Hillary Vote.

After living 77 years plus and seen many Presidents and knowing some of the underbelly of things about some Presidents I have come to several conclusions, Trump is scum. Nixon was brilliant but insecure and hen blew it. JFK was elected with the help of the Mafia and he and RFK were taken out by the same. LBJ was a money whore and had dirt on everybody just like JEH of the FBI!

I have know some very famous people and am related to many famous folks also, LOL!
Hell, I grew up in and with History all the way back to Washington, Andrew Johnson, R E Lee and The Earp Clan of course!

So Yall, have a swell day!
