Oh My! when in vegas.........

I saw last night at Mandalay Bay "Mamma Mia" it was soooooo AWESOME! When you are in Vegas you must go see this( well as well as Celene and barry). The music was spectacular!

I'm thinking of going to Vegas for my birthday! I can never get enough of Vegas.

PS - I was in Atlantic City the other week and whoa! Definitely not Vegas, but I did get my gambling fix. The casinos were really nice but once you got off of the boardwalk, forget it. I particularly loved Bally's Wild Wild West -- I'm Texan and the country music and atmosphere were so my speed.

I am heading to Las Vegas for the first time in August. I would love any recommendations and suggestions from those who have been there.

Y'all know how much I dig Vegas and will know how excited I was to find out that my new beau loves Vegas as well. He's already saying that we need to take a trip out there. My quarter of a century is in October and I'm still wanting to go, so we'll see.

UWO, look for a PM from me later today.

My parents, hubby and I are staying at the Wynn Las Vegas. Hubby will be attending the World Juggling Federation championship for part of our visit. I have nothing big planned. Just wanted to enjoy the sights of the Strip, a little gambling and some good food and entertainment without breaking the bank (believe me the price of the Wynn is already making me sweat). So any advice is welcomed.

I'd also like to put in that Vegas makes a fantastic invitational party theme - we used it this year and it was a hit. We had a quickie wedding room, a casino room, a Cirque du Soleil room, and a nightclub room.

Hi, I am a new Alpha Phi to the board but I saw this conversation and couldn't help but think about my own experience in Las Vegas. I went with my parents and my best friend and we met some interesting people as we were walking up and down by the casinos and the strip, of course, it was nighttime and there were many drunk characters around. Overall, we had such a wonderful time in Vegas and I won a little on the slot machines lol.
