Cool You know you're a proud greek when....

You know you're a proud greek when....

Fill in the blank...

I'll start. On my computer, MS Word auto completes the phrase, 'Lambda Chi Alpha' and the word 'fraternity'.

Word wont even auto complete my name. lol.

So what do you do that shows you're a proud greek? Lots of 'nalia? Kids have the future ABC shirts? Painted your house in your orgs colors? what?

You know, a house is one thing that would look good in our colors.....

Oh, let's see. Jewelry, decorated cubicle, car sticker, pictures, etc. Probably too numerous to remember everything.

your house could be a shrine to Lambda Chi Alpha, with all the Coat of Arms and other LCA related material in it.

Also, you exhaust your bank account buying LCA related shirts, etc etc off of EBay. LOL

Your bathroom is done in Dolphins. Complete with a framed picture of dolphins your little took at the beach and added letters to.

And you stop outside the airport in Punta Cana to take pictures because the stepping stones are Deltas. (immagration was none to happy with me!)

I think it's cometcursor.com. There's a section called society and culture and under that, there is a section of Greek Sororities and also Greek Fraternities.

....you have your letters put onto a triathlon suit. (hehe, i was bored!)

....you have at least one set of letters on at any given time (lavalier, bag, shirt, flip flops...)

.... you sign every card you write (to a sister or not!) with your motto (to thine own self be true...)

When you've completely taken over your living room with all the things you've gotten from your big, your lils, your pledge mom, and other sisters. The only personal items my roommate has in the living room are a picture frame and a candle. I have: a paddle, a banner, a bulletin board, two paintings/drawings, two composites, my bid, two flutes, three shot glasses, one snifter, five photo frames, two photo albums, five candle holders, a vase, and a decorative mirror. I feel kinda bad for my roommate.

When you're still this involved 21 years after your Initiation...

When you have two squirrel collections.. one indoors and one outdoors

When you have a family room that is red, buff and green

When you have a personalized license plate that says AGDEE

You know you're a proud Phi Sigma Sigma...

When the wallpaper on your computer at work is the Phi Sigma Sigma crest.

When your cubicle at work is decorated with Phi Sig items.

When your parents buy you a ton of Phi Sigma Sigma items as Christmas presents even though you are an alumnae.

Thanks, llifesaver. Unfortunately, I watch Bob so infrequently and never get to see Sandy. When I see Bob stuff in the store, Sandy's never there!!

Dee...we are soo much alike and I've been out longer, lol. My license plate says AGDSQL The guest bedroom has white chair rail molding...separating yellow and red (the red was left over from the previous owner, loll).

When hubby goes on a trip and brings you squirrel stuff.

When you check out clothes and your pocketbook migrates towards combos of red, yellow and/or green.

I have been waiting to see a Tri-Delta say something like this! I received a catalog that shows a "flush lever" (or whatever you call the lever that causes the commode to flush) in the form of a dophin! It's here!
