Arrow Sorority House ???

I am moving into the sorority house for the first time. Besides the obvious, is there anything that is a don't-forget to pack?

A big permanent marker so you can put your name on things you don't want to lose.

They are also good for drawing on freshman that pass out in your house.

True...luckily we don't have that happen a lot at my house, and even if we did, no one would draw on them with a permanent marker.

Note to self: DON'T PASS OUT when older members have big permanent markers!

These are more general-sorority things than sorority-house thingsm, but a lot of random costume pieces are good to have. You don't know if socials are gonna be 70's disco or bikers and babes, so having random clothing that you wouldn't wear to class is good to have around - especially if you're far away like me and can't run home the weekend before a social to get your spiffy polyester 70's shirt.

Also, one of my sisters brought a WHOLE BUNCH of formal dresses to school this past year - all of hers and her sister's, so she had a little Lucy's boutique thing going on right around formal time. It was really nice for the girls that were able to borrow formal dresses instead of having to buy a new one, so if you have a bunch of prom dresses lying around you might want to think about bringing those.

A mini-fridge is a really good idea. It's always nice to be able to have a late-night snack without schlepping down to the kitchen. Also, yummy leftovers have a habit of disappearing from the house fridge, so it was nice to be able to safely store those.

A sleeping bag is nice - my pledge semester I had big problems with my roomie, so I basically moved onto the floor of my friend Lisa's room in the sorority house - lucky for me, she had a sleeping bag!
