Back home: Ginos Original (that's Toledo OH); Pizza house and COttage Inn in Ann Arbor MI are pretty good too.
For Chicago deep dish, Giordanos all the way (been known to carry a half baked on planes... you should see the looks you get when THAT goes through security)
AlphaSigOU was on the money re. pizza in Texas-- although there's a new family run place near me that's decent (Upper Crust).
Norwich, NY (upstate): Nina's. Family owned. BEST. PIZZA. EVER. I was spoiled with this WONDERFUL pizza for the first 10 years of my life. I then moved to Indiana and have since wanted to choke anyone who argues about which pizza place is better (i.e. Pizza Slut vs. Papa Johns...Domino's vs. Pizza King. gag me.). Also, down the road from Nina's is Pasquale's. Don't know much about them, but I heard they moved from NYC (not sure what part, but I heard little Italy) and that they have a joint or two up there. Any NYCers know of them?
Donato's (and pizza hut and domino's and etc etc etc) are DISGUSTING.
When I lived in NYC, I went with my parents to John's Pizza on 44th St and 8th Ave once a week. Now that we live in Arizona, we have yet to find a pizza place that we could go to on a regular basis (once a week).
Jacksonville, Florida: The Loop Pizza and Grille. oh my word this is good pizza. one bite and you will swoon. okay that is an exaggeration but the taste is incredible.
pizza hut and papa johns are nasty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! domino's is semi good. i remember when i lived in gainesville, there was this place called Road Doggy's Pizza. the taste of it made me want to puke!!
