I think that wearing letters would be acceptable if only on a more formal shirt, my chapter has polo’s with letters on them, i think that'd be fine with dress pants, but wearing a t-shirt or hoddie would not be acceptable. Part of it might also depend on if it is near your campus or if it’s in your hometown, just whether or not you’re comfortable doing it is the main question. I think showing a religious side of being Greek is always a good idea.

Would you, could you with a Fox?
Would you, could you in a box?
Would you, could you in a church?
Would you, could you in a lurch?
Not with a Fox not in a Box
Not in a church, not in a lurch
I would not wear my Greek letter shirts

I apologize the Dr. Seuss. Don't know what came over me.

I wear my badge to church. Sometimes if I go to an evening service I'll wear my lettered polo.

I would wear a printed tee but probably not sewn letters. My church is VERY casual, though. The liturgical director's son used to come in a hoodie with punk band logos sewn on!

This past Sunday there was an entire row of women (maybe 10 total) that came in together and they all had block letter sweatshirts on. Butler isn't that far from my church, so maybe it was the closest Mass at the time they needed? My church can be fairly ecclectic in dress, with a range of people in everything from jeans and sweatshirts to hose & heels.
