The spam is killing me. I mostly lurk nowadays, but this board is dead. It makes me so sad, especially because it was so alive back when I joined which wasn't even that long ago.

Teddy says he's getting a summer cut tomorrow for the first time ever, and he hopes he'll feel cooler this summer. How is Daisy? Have you been to Cedar Point yet this summer? Hidden from Chatty Client Lady at the coffee shop? De-infested any snakes lately? (I don't actually want to know the answer to the last one)

WIFLSRN: I am so ready for my doctor's appointment tomorrow. I fell off a bar stool (stone cold sober believe it or not!) on our cruise, and hit my ankle against the stool to keep myself from going down. (I'm going to blame the fact that I had new glasses, and not the fact that I'm a complete klutz.) Well it swelled up like a grapefruit, and the medical team on the ship diagnosed it with being cellulitis from a hemotoma created from hitting it. They said the hematoma likely burst and boom--cellulitis. I had to start two antibiotics and get IV antibiotics on the ship. I got home and it still wasn't better but my doctor was out of town. So I went to urgent care. More x-rays (we are at 7 now) and that doctor thinks it's actually broken but can't be seen on the x-rays so she sends me to get an MRI. Only the insurance won't cover an MRI because I haven't had 6 weeks of other care. She had also prescribed prednisolone, which really helped bring the swelling down. It still hurts some, but is much, much better. But my ankle bone seems to be protruding more than it ever has before. And now the skin has started peeling off. First in chunks, now in finer pieces. 3 days of it.... I just want to know what the hell is wrong with it. Tired of dealing with it. Tired of people telling me to rest it. I'm not a good patient.

No, we haven't been to Cedar Point this summer, yet. My MIL was sick so my husband and I were in Minnesota for two weeks. We're going to be moving to Minnesota in October, so we haven't had much time for Cedar Point (selling/buying a house/careers, etc.).

I've seen my annoying client a few times at Starbucks, but I've managed to avoid her. I haven't had any snakes visit lately. I've had a couple of turtles and a rat, though. The rat lost his companion, and because rats are very social, he's now not doing so well.
Speaking of work, I can now say (after four long years) that I am a vet specialist. 
I'm glad to hear/read that Teddy is doing well. Daisy is doing well -- hyper as usual.
She says to tell Teddy, hi.

Lol! Pretty much. I can't see GC ever going back to what it once was unless DrPhil came back on the scene. Right after she got banned, it wasn't even a week before things got quiet around here.
