Founders Day at Beta Psi

Ladies, had the most wonderful Founders Day experience yesterday at Beta Psi. Rose Leonard Paris was the guest speaker. She brought many artifacts from her grandmother including her wedding ring, pictures, etc. Her presentation was witty, fun, insightful and informative. She is such a gem! Her husband, son and DG daughter-in-law came with her (needed them to haul all the stuff!). What a treat to hear stories of her grandmother! We were truly blessed to be there.

Sounds like a fabulous day! Maybe Rose will speak at a Convention some time -- I would love to hear/see more of the personal side of our Founders.

We had our Founders Day yesterday, too, with the Berkeley chapter and several alumnae groups. Our guest speakers were Laurie Roselle and Linda Linck. Apparently, this weekend was the first time the Fraternity President and Foundation Board of Trustees Chairman had ever presented at Founders Days together (they also went to Palo Alto's on Saturday). They did a wonderful job updating us on Fraternity and Foundation news and reminding everyone of our lifelong commitment to DG.
