I think I might hit up Sephora tonight and ask for a sample. I've been addicted to the Chanel (Sienna for winter) and Nars (Casino for when I'm tan) bronzers for a couple years so I'm interested to see how this will look. I'll let you know

The lady at the Chanel counter got me started recently doing my eyeliner with a dark shadow and small brush. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the liner brush I bought from them- it was expensive, but worth it. I was in Sephora the other day and all the eyeliner brushes had fairly long bristles. These are really short, with an angle. It's a pretty small brush, but it's great control. Just wet the brush, then use it with a dark shadow (I get stuck with all sorts of dark eyeshadows when I buy sets, and they never look good on me) and use as a liner. I love it!

I love this stuff.. as well as Stila's smudge pots. I just recently started wearing eyeliner, but I love how they apply and look.

It's about time for me to buy a new foundation and I was thinking of getting the Bare Essentuals. The only thing is I'll have to order it from Sephora without trying it, so I was wondering what those of you who have used it think of it. Also, what color would I get for a golden light-medium tan skin tone?

I would get the medium starter pack thing...I can't remember what it's called. It comes with Medium and Medium Beige which are basically the same shade with different undertones. I use both of them depending on the time of year.

I started with the Medium/Med Beige kit and found out when I went to the BE Boutique in Cincinnati that I should be using Light instead. Go figure! I mixed in the Mediums over the summer with a tan, so the stuff is very forgiving!
If you want to try foundation samples before buying a kit, try www.colorfulsprinkles.com (free shipping code SHIPBE). Amazing service and great prices--no, I'm not associated at all with that site, just an extremely happy customer!

Question about a product
Ladies,
Through another website (and speaking with one other person that's used this), I've found out about a product called
" Model in a bottle". Have any of you used it before? It's supposed to keep your makeup in place and give you a nice, matte finish. I'd be interested to hear what you think if you've used it.

I'm interested in using it.
I have tried some of everything. I even sell (when I feel like it) Color Me Beautiful products which includes Flori Roberts. I have loved wearing make-up as early as I could get away with it (12-13 years old). I love Clinique and Lancome. On the cheap, I love Cover Girl and Revlon.

I just got a "benefit" catalog and they seem to have tons of good stuff. Anything in there that I absolutely can't do without?? Just the catalog itself is funky and fun.

i am having a foundation issue.
I have been wearing the covergirl Outlast foundation. And it looks great on, perfect texture and it matches my skin really well. BUT! It has stained the collars of my t-shirts!! Permanently! So now the search begins.
I just bought some of the Physicians formula Mineral Wear foundation and the translucent mineral veil loose powder. I put it on for the first time today, i must say that is a lot lighter than the Outlast, and it is pretty close to my skin tone. We'll see how this goes.

I too love Benefit's browzings and bad girl blue mascara. I also like their Eyecon dark circle eye cream, creaseless cream shadow/liner, the gilded eye pencil, eye bright pencil, and the 10 (sexy sweep) highlighter/bronzer powder duo.
For the most part though I am obsessed with Bare Minerals make up and recently purchased the Pure Moxie kit, Fruit Smoothies eye shadow set, Teamed up Coral Reef Eye shadow set, the set of eye quickies with venus and neptune colors, bisque concealer, Park Place Princess set, and Bare Radiance all over face color.
I love the long wearing.waterproof eye liners from M.A.C. Just about every product from Philosophy, and i'm newly obsessed with Jonathan Product and Fekkai hair products.

Sheesh, and I thought I was bad waiting for the 3rd Love Bird kit shipment! I hear it's blues, and I simply don't wear blues so I don't know how much I'll like it. How do you like the Fruit Smoothies? I'm terribly tempted by them, but don't know how they'll look with my coloring (lt/med beige foundation mix, dark brown hair and eyes).
I love Bare Radiance! If you have Lovely blush, mix 1 part Lovely with 1 part BR. It's stunning.
