your sorority at a high school?

Ladies forgive me for crashing your forum because I'm not an AKA, but as a greek woman I just wanted to bring this to someone's attention. If there was a HS group claiming to be Tri Sigma, I'd want to know.

I was surfing the website of a HS in the Cincinnati area and your sorority was listed under the 'Extracurricular Activities' section of the site. Here's the link: http://taftiths.cps-k12.org/Extra%20Curricular%20Programs.htm. There's contact info for staff on the site also.

Well that could really mean anything. Our ultimate goal is service and we do a lot of work with high schools so maybe it's a service projet or something. I was an AKA-Teen myself as a teenager. There's probably no malice behind this.. maybe the local chapter was sponsoring something there like the Young Authors or some other activity?

I know we have GC sorors who are in the area. I'm sure they can provide more information. I believe, as mentioned before, that one of the chapters probably has a program activity, if tutoring, mentoring, or something along that line at the school.

On the surface, it seems questionable, but since we do NOT have HSers as members of our organization (ONLY participants in various activities), I would not be alarmed.

Thanks for your concern.
