Preferentials
Preferentials is the most formal round of Recruitment. Formal dresses that you would have worn to Prom or Homecoming are good examples of what most people will opt to wear. Simple jewelry may be worn. Formal shoes should also be worn, but remember to bring flip flops to wear between parties.
....wow, this is very formal. Most of the time I read cocktail dress but this makes me think floor length, poofy and, well, very prom like....

Many girls DO wear cocktail dresses for Prom or Homecoming.
Rarely does a PNM wear a huge poofy dress...but it has happened.

Thanks so much for doing this. A lot of school will be having recruitment around the time I'm at convention Sept 5-7. So the second I get home, I'll have tons to catch up on.
Good luck to everyone rushing this year and I look forward to reading all of your stories (especially the girls going thur at LSU)

ajuhdg,
Thanks sooooooooooo much for making this list! I was worried that I'd have to go through all of the recruitment threads and see when everybody was rushing and make my own list... but you did all of the work! It is so super-helpful, now I will know who's thread to read when. Thanks!

Ditto: ajuhdg, this is one of the best threads *ever* -- we ought to have it temporarily added to the top so it doesn't get buried.

I hear what you are saying, my school has a pretty big greek system and there are two other girls from my school on here, but no PNM's. I want to read their rush stories, but no such luck. Oh well, there are a lot of other PNM's around here to keep me satisfied. I can't wait for rush....err recruitment to start!
