Fundraising ideas needed!!!

My chapter and I are going to be selling items at the upcoming convetion in September and want to make some BSP items. I just wanted some suggestions of some interesting things we could make so that we do not show up with the same stuff as everyone else. What would you like to see sold?

--stationery with my letters/colors
--items I could use at work: decorated clipboard, memo pads, items for a desk (pen cup, yellow rose pens-the kind made with silk flowers)
--small floral arrangements with your sorority flower
--checkbook cover
--keychain/keytag
--coasters
--koozies/can huggers
--christmas ornaments
--fleece blankets/throws

What sold well at the last convention? Can you find out what other chapters are bringing so you don't duplicate items?

Wasn't there a poster on here who said she used Satin Hands and broke out in a rash for a week?

I agree with Katie. I've seen several groups do REALLY well with a Mary Kay fundraiser. I know of at least one high school choir group that is doing one right now and they are doing really well! It would certainly be different than what everybody else is selling! You might as well give it a try!

To those of you who do not feel warmly toward Mary Kay, if you have had a bad experience with one of the products, let your Beauty Consultant know and she will either refund your money or let you trade it for something else. They do not want their customers to be unhappy. Your Beauty Consultant will want to make it right for you. Just a suggestion.

Blessings!

Caroline
