I also thought what you thought.

I hope the Nantucket Reds look better on these posters than they do on that model. They probably are better shorts than pants. I hope.

I don't know man, I'm still trying to get past that red shorts comment.
I said old, not "crappy". If you could stop putting words in my mouth/assuming that would be great, thanks.

"I can spill bourbon on it and not care" = "crappy" in my book. The only clothes I can spill things on and not care are ones I don't wear outside the house.

I don't wear Nantucket Reds because the red is a bit light for the color of the team...

but I wear them on regular days. Comfortable.

If that was the case for me I wouldn't be able to drink outside the house...

It doesn't LOOK like it's had alcohol spilled all over it because, well, it doesn't happen that often and I get it dry cleaned a few times a season.

Only if you insist.

There's nothing wrong with Nantucket Reds, in general. The model on that link just doesn't do them any justice because I recall seeing men wear them outside of football game settings...but I was mostly teasing. But Nantucket Reds didn't fit what I imagined when I read "red shorts/pants."

Isn't this just a matter of what size the men wear, though? I've seen men wear red Dickies but they are just a smaller, preppier size. Red Dickie shorts and pants were what I thought the posters meant.

ETA: Or is there another brand (and fabric) that applies?

My brother goes to Georgia Southern and wears red shorts. I think his are Dockers, maybe? He has every imaginable color of shorts ... it's kind of insane.

So.. let me get this straight.. Yankees don't know what Nantucket Reds are? Do you know where Nantucket is????

And, regardless of the whole north/south thing, those look like Nantucket Pinks to me. Is that the case, or is my monitor messed up?
