For reals. Did all of these women get together to coordinate their outfits before recruitment? In many of the photos, there's even a fairly consistent color scheme. I thought some pics of the PNMs were actually of the sorority members because their clothes looked so similar and in sync.

I guess that's the style that's in!

Those platform espadrilles, TEVAs, etc. > heels all day, believe it or not.

Repeat Kohls romper also > every PNM thinking they need to be wearing Lilly!

You'd almost be out of place in pearls/heels/LP.

i like.

That's awesome. My friend's daughter only got 3 invites back...so they are freaking out a bit.

We're definitely on the same style team. I don't know that I've ever seen anyone "rock a romper."

Yes, the platform sandals are definitely comfy looking, with some height. I also thought the PNM wearing tennis shoes and a loose chambray ruffled sundress, in the picture where she's walking in the middle of a line of PNMS, with her head turned to look behind her, looked great and comfy and authentic.

I thought the same thing! She looked comfortable, cute and confident. She wore it well! I am sure her feet were feeling much better than most at the end of the day.

Bluebird has 13 invites back, her favourite house was her legacy house and, unfortunately, they elected not to invite her back. She ranked them first over all. However, sometimes the things in life we do not receive are kept from us in order for us to prosper.

That's a solid number of houses to return to. No doubt Bluebird will have a a favorite house in the next round!

Due to European restrictions, I cannot access the pictures here in the UK! I am very interested in seeing these rompers and coordinated outfits! Could someone post a few of the pictures in the thread?

Any time I see anybody in a romper it looks like it is pulling at the crotch and the shorts are about 1 inch shorter than they are intended. But they are everywhere so apparently I'm in the minority.

The other outfit choice I cant stand are the strapless bandage minidress where the skirt is a couple of ruffles that barely cover the butt. They always pop up and I wonder why they are ever worn for recruitment.

What happens when people need to sit down??

Like the chambray dress and sneakers outfit. Fantastic for day 1.

IMHO, rompers are cute on toddler girls. After about age 4, no. I’m showing my age, right?

They just don't seem to work...besides the riding up and the length issues, they also seem to gather too high at the waist.

There are are a number of style trends right now that seem to be a conglomeration of past style fails:

bell bottom jeans
rompers
pre-ripped jeans
midriff-bearing shirts
"Mom jeans" with a high waist
And my #1 current "can't wait for this to go out of style" trend: cutting a licensed vendor shirt according to some YouTuber's directions, to make it into a revealing halter/whatever top for some event.

This is one of the things I love about advising -- staying on top of the latest trends and social media preferences, just to see how quickly things turn over. I think it's about every 3 years.
