Minimally Structure / Partially Structure Recruitment

My school is looking to adopt one of the two styles and I wanted more information. How do you format each of these (like are there specific times, how is it structured, etc.)? Any information that you can share is much appreciated!

Yay for AGDee!!

I will throw in my own 2.5 cents and say that these should NOT be used if first semester freshmen are rushing. If first semester freshmen rush, you should do formal rush in the fall, period. Also, there should not be any sort of extended silence period, except while rush is actually occurring.

My school is also doing this for the first time next semester. I personally don't think it's a good idea because a lot of the girls being targeted are second-semester freshmen, and mostly the ones who will be dropping out of/taking a break from architecture and I too think everyone period should go through formal. I'm not really sure how it's all gonna go down but I don't see it ending well, especially since a bunch of new initiates will be "on the other side" of rush this time, and I personally would like a recruitment session or two before I start trying to get my peers to join my sorority.

Regarding the format, what I've found is each campus pretty much picks and chooses from Partially and Minimally Structured styles what they think will work best for their campus. It is truly different at every school. Some have quota, some don't. Some require you to attend one or two events per sorority, some require certain times visiting each chapter, some have open parties where PNMs can come and go, etc.
