How does spring recruitment at UT austin work?

From the UT greek life website:

University Panhellenic Council at UT Austin does not sponsor or organize a formal spring recruitment. Some chapters continue to recruit and pledge women throughout the school year. Events are organized and scheduled at each chapter's convenience. If you want an opportunity to interact with all fourteen UPC sororities before making your decision, you should participate in fall formal recruitment.

I would be very surprised if any of the chapters at UT do Spring recruitment. They all took very large pledge classes and it appears that all chapters were very sucessful. Good Luck!!

That may be, but making quota in the fall does not necessarily preclude COB in the spring. A chapter can have vacancies for retention reasons, or simply for December graduates.

^^^Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but UT seems like one of those schools where any spring vacancies are probably filled sort of "quietly" by women the chapter already knows (as opposed to publicly promoted COB or informal.)

^^That and if your over total after people have left there is still no spot to fill.

This is correct based on my very limited knowledge of what went on this year.
