Interesting. Might explain why the new badge I sent back for numerous problems took a month just to get to the warranty department. I couldn't figure out why it went back to Rhode Island then got sent on to Indianapolis. At least I think that's where they said they were when I called to find out what was up with it. I'd really love to see someone with more concern for quality control take on our jewelry account....

I talked to the HJ rep at national convention this past week. She said the Providence plant moved to Warwick, RI, but that I can go there in person to have my pearl and emerald badge where the enamel broken off fixed.
(I have no desire to go to Warwick, especially after my car window was broken in there a few months ago and my laptop/ wallet/ checkbook/ identity were stolen.... sigh.)

Oh, Herff Jones My friend graduated from nursing school in May 2016. She received a nursing pin (made by Herff Jones) that says "COLLFGE" on it. She talked to customer service and sent it back for a replacement. They sent her a new pin. It also says "COLLFGE." About half of her nursing class ended up with defective pins.
The one on the left is the first pin. The one on the left is the replacement pin that Herff Jones sent, after she complained.

At our Convention last month, we officially added a new badge option: amethyst points for Chapter Advisory Board members!

And I spotted this one at the same place. I think it's a 1905 pin. Very cool.
The guard is a crest, not a chapter guard.
