Last Fall GC rushees! Where are they now?!
Did you rush last fall? What are you up to in your chapter? How are things going? How much do you love your org?
Or if you didn't get into a group, what are you up to? Are you rushing again? Why or why not?
Happy posting

I joined AOII last August at USF. My sorority has definitely changed me for the better... only within a short year. I have so many memories with the girls and it is an experience that every girl should have. I am SOOOOO excited about recruitment (starts August 17th) and getting new girls.... hopefully my LITTLE SISTER too. Plus, I now have tons and tons of shirts from events

jocelyn's thread is not necessarily about who went where- it is more about how all of the newest GC sisters are doing now

I'll speak for BlazerCheer, since she just left for school--the Chi Os have a rush retreat in Florida this weekend.
She's now a senior. She won the Symphony Bar for Chi O--it's an award for participation. She co-captained the Chi O intramural volleyball team and their Greek Week team and they both won! She was also a member of the sorority's Greek Week Tug team and they won too!
BlazerCheer was here for the summer and she has gone totally Chi O...her room was all cardinal and straw and owls! She can't wait for recruitment and to have a little sister.
ETA: The new chaplain of Psi Lambda chapter was named last night--BlazerCheer!

I am doing quite well. I am currently the Foundation Chair for my sorority. I'm looking forward to RUSH this fall b/c it will be my first from the other side. we have 5 or 6 Rho Gamma's this fall. Pretty exciting!

Well, last fall, I went through rush and was cut the before the first day of invitationals by all five sororites on campus. Delta Zeta was my favorite, and the day after Bid Day, they invited me to a COB. I got a bid, and I've been bleeding pink and green ever since.
I'm currently Vice-President of Programs, and I think I'm about to take on Academics Chair as well, because our previous Academic Chair left the chapter for financial reasons. I've witnessed a lot of great things with Delta Zeta this past year. We're a smaller chapter, but this Spring, we increased our membership by a quarter. So we're going into FR only slightly smaller than all the other chapters. Things are looking up, and I'm right in the middle of it, loving every minute.
