Vintage Badge - New Guard?

If you came across a unique / vintage badge, would you put you're own chapter's guard on it or would you leave it as the badge by itself?

Vintage-Probably would put my chapter guard on it.

I don't know what you are referring to when you say a "unique" badge, do you mean something like the Lazy Phi badge or the Sigma Kappa badges with the lovely scroll work?
If so, as long as the national sorority considers it a badge still appropriate to wear, I would attach my chapter guard to it.

I'm a Tri Sigma. Our badge only has pearls on it now, but very old badges had other stones on them (opals and rubies seemed to be popular). The badge I'm referring to happens to have rubies on the corners of the triangle.

I would leave the badge by itself.

I've never seen a tri sigma badge with anything but pearls. Please come post a photo of it in the Badge Trends thread!

I'd do whatever you wanted with it. It's not like adding a chapter guard is permanent.

Another idea is using a crest guard. They are SHARP!
