The student work yesterday was amazing. This is one of my former student's work that was presented. He took one of my intro to auto classes. He was good then, and now he's even better. At the show, it was cut in three separate pieces but the e-mail he sent to me is all one piece. This is the guy that I've been talking about. He'll be interning with us this summer starting next week. I think folks at my job are tired of me talking him up.
ETA: and this will be the first time I've worked with one of my former students before.

56 flashcards down, a billion to go. I've decided to read through summaries of all the major works on the list twice before the test. That way I can hopefully remember major points, like what each one is about so I can narrow down my choices on the test. Stupid praxis.
Got my last grade, it's an A-. I'm sort of happy because I really expected a B or B+ but at the same time there's always that one grade that prevents me from getting a 4.0 and it's always a class I didn't actually need! I took this class for fun so if I hadn't taken it I could have gotten a 4.0. Boo.

I HATE group projects for the fact that your grade is in the hands of others. I needed a 93 on our final group project to get an A in the class. We got a 95...and then the professor took off three points because a team member lost two of the rough drafts that were supposed to be handed in with the final copy. Therefore, I missed an A by one LOUSY point in the final project...and 0.25 overall. Worst of all, it's a flat letter scale, so I won't even get a B+
But I guess it really doesn't matter overall because I'M DONE!!!!

ARGHHHHHHH! They canceled my summer I class due to low enrollment. WTF it was 8/25 which I know isn't a lot but this class is supposed to prepare me for the praxis which I'm taking June 12! It doesn't help me now since I won't take the class until the fall! Now I e-mailed the professor of another class to see if I could get into it since it's technically full. I explained that the other class was canceled so I was hoping to swap the two and take his in the summer now and the other one in the fall. Now I just have to pray he lets me in.
