Anyone know what the badge is on the left? I found this while looking at ASA stuff on that site, and was curious.

The symbol in the upper right is that of a flask, so I'm thinking something in the Chemistry/Pharmacy type Professional or Honorary. I'm sort of surprised at a "C" in a badge though, which may mean an english name for the group rather than a greek one.

Oh wow, that makes sense. Thanks for letting me know! And no, I have no clue what school this is from. The auction only lists the left badge as a CCP pin... so I don't think the seller even really knows what it is or where it is from.

Found this image from some pics of an anniversary celebration this past spring...

This is the badge of a former Grand President (the position now known as International President), along with her honor roll pin (the highest award given to any individual within Gamma Phi) and what I'm sure is her husband's badge. She was an amazing, lovely woman, who recently passed away, and it warmed my heart to see a pic of her proudly displaying this amazing collection of badges. Assuming the sweetheart badge was one she received when she (he) was in college, it would be circa 1940.

But I want something else done with the Gamma and Beta. So I was thinking either pearls, so like this badge, only in silver with amethyst covering the Phi:

Or with the letters chased instead of jeweled, like this badge in silver, with amethyst covering the Phi:

I also like the idea of alternating pearls and amethyst, but I've never seen anything like that and can't quite picture it in my head.

Thoughts?
Monkeying with Photoshop to help out a sister is so much more fun than working on my manuscript. It should be obvious I only know enough Photoshop to be dangerous, but hopefully these will help you visualize the options you're dreaming about.

From talking to a historian at Alpha Chi Sigma (Chemistry Professional), I found someone who wants the unknown pin and would like to bid jointly with someone who wants the ASA pin. I will PM any interested ASA

^^^ Perhaps rather than putting his email on a public board, you can offer to PM any interested ASA.

Lately, I have been haunted by a vision of a gold Theta Kite with alternating turquoise and blue or fire opal. Thought I read somewhere that only milky opal is now available which I think would look icky with turquoise. The late Victorian badges (all groups) to early Twentieth Century badges with their gorgeous unusual gems really set me on fire. What do y'all think?

Happy Birthday and Christmas and Birthday and Christmas to me from my hubby!
Just ordered this 160th badge today.

Got the permanent rope border pendant and crown turquoise all in white gold. Can't wait to actually get it (in 6 or so weeks).
