"To Kill a Mockingbird" in select theaters tonight

Not only am I a huge fan of Harper Lee's book (Yes, she's a Chi Omega), but also the movie is fantastic.

Tonight at 7:00 p.m. in theaters around the country it will be shown as a celebration of the 50th anniversary.

Anyone else going to attend?

Oh, I should go! This is one of my favorite books and the subject of my junior research paper in HS. Great movie.

Saw this and got very excited. Checked with the theater near me and saw that the showtime is 2 pm. Rats.

That's awesome! Wish I'd seen this a bit sooner... there's a 2 p.m. showing here too and my husband could have gone with me before work.

To Kill A Mockingbird was one of the last books I read to my mother (she was legally blind) - we both loved both the book and the movie!

Wish I'd realized sooner too. My brother lived in Monroeville, AL for a while. I was bummed that he moved before I ever got to see one of their annual TKAM plays.
