Ok guys I have an update...
I got an email from group#2 today. The pres said that she has been speaking about me to her sisters and they are excited to meet me. I, ofcourse, was delighted. So, she has invited me to join the alum at their collegiate recruitment tomorrow. This would give me a chance to meet ALL the girls and catch some "behind" the scenes. She did warn me that it would probably be very hectic tomorrow but she also said that if I wish to join them this would give me the opportunity to see the highs and lows of recruitment with their org.
So I am very excited. I will head off to their campus Friday after work. I will get back with the details later.
Wish me luck

Ok guys I have news!!!
I am so tired!!! Well, I went to the recruitment weekend of the collegiate chapter. It was awesome!!!! I got to see how the girls voted and make some bonds. The alum pres and I got along like sisters. We totally clicked. I also met other alums and they were sweet too!!!! The alum pres has gotten a lot of compliments from other alums that they like me....haaaaaaaaaaaa!!! Also, another alum got me on the side and said that the collegiate girls liked me to....so that's awesome!!!!
Well, I don't want to brag anymore but I will let you know how everything else goes

I forgot to add that I still have not heard from Org#1. But that's ok. This keeps the pressure off that I am pursing two orgs at once.
Have a great day!!!

Hey guys,
Just thought I'd let you know that I recieved a phone call from my first choice this past weekend. I wasn't home unfortunately but my sister took the message. I was like, "What did she say...did she say she'll call back..." She called around 7:45pm so I figured she probably will not be calling back that night. So, what should I do? Should I return her phone call tonight or should I just wait for her to call? I am getting along so well with Org #2 but I am curious to know how Org#1 fits me too. Oh, well let me know what you guys think...then I figure out what to do.
Have a great day!

Ok, enough convincing Jill ...I did call her back. Left her a message. She called me back and it was a little discouraging. The whole A.I. thing is still new thing that the alumnae are trying to figure it out. She said that another alum was going to nationals and let them know of my persuit and that I should be recieving a call from her...when?...don't know. The alum also mentioned that this could take anywhere from a month to a year. She also said that it is unusual that I am seeking them when it's them that do the seeking. What gets me frustrated is that I already mentioned to them that I have been in contact with nationals and they passed me on to them and now it's going back up to them. Whatever happened to "Let's meet and get to know you first and move on from there..." It was a discouraging conversion in my opinion. On the other hand, Org #2 was also new to the concept of A.I. but welcomed me with open arms (during recruitment they had me join in with them on a chant/clap thing and introduce my self to PNM and I know I totally messed up the rhythm but they were like "it's ok, don't worry about") and are ready for me to take the A.I. process next year. Sometimes the choice seems so obvious to me but at the same time the "what if's" take over my head.
Well, more updates later.
