KKG sent this out to some of their members, and I think these are great sites with a lot of good information!
ADVOCATING THE SORORITY EXPERIENCE
YOUR ROLE AS THE ADVOCATE
As we move from development to marketing "The Sorority Life" initiative, your help is key in advocating the sorority experience. Everyone needs to encourage potential new members and their families to visit these new Web sites. Undergraduate membersshould include the Web sites as part of the advocacy efforts.
What specifically can you do?
- Add the new banners for www.TheSororityLife.com and www.SororityIQ.com to your Web site, family weekend materials, homecoming materials, printed and electronic magazines and newsletters and e-mail signatures.
- Post the site links on both your organizational and personal Facebook and Myspace pages.
Challenge each member to circulate the links to at least 10 junior high and/or high school friends.
- Encourage your members to sign-up for the e-newsletter and use the information at their meetings.
- Have every member take the sororityIQ quiz.
- Use the marketing materials that can be found on the NPC Web site,www.npcwomen.org. Download the postcards and/or posters and personalize them for legacies, alumna reference chairmen, etc.
- Purchase the pens and buttons from the NPC Store to giveto your members.
- Share your good, successful ideas with all of us!
