Active member at national level?
Many universities have student representatives appointed to the university board to represent the student view. Does anyone have an active member appointed to the National Board to represent the active view?

We have a 10 member Executive Council. 4 members (President, Vice President, Treasurer & Secretary) are always alumni (although an undergraduate could run for one of these offices.) The other 6 are district Archons. Archons must be students to run for office. The majority of our EC is controlled by undergraduates.

The Arch Chapter is made up of alumni, but we have a student advisory board, called the Undergraduate Council with fairly extensive "power" that meets with the Arch Chapter.

Two members on DU's 13 man Board of Directors are undergraduates. Additionally the Undergraduate Advisory Board must approve all fee increases on the undergraduates.

We have somewhere between 2-6 (I really can't remember the #) of undergrads appointed as Grand Councilmen. Undergrads also serve on other committees of the Grand Chapter. A gentlemn from our chapter serves on the national LEAD (member ed) committee.

LXA has Active Members on the National Board of Review. Well, or what ever it is called.

What a terrific idea - more groups should do this!
