I agree. The one I am familiar with recently (I won't name names, but all you regulars will know) was postponed a few times to give the first group a little extra breathing room. Once something is postponed more than, say, a year or two, though, I don't think you can still be confident the original choice is still the best one.

Phi Mu has been invited to colonize at TCU no sooner that Fall 2015 and no later than Fall 2017. Phi Mu's recolonization at the University of Washington is scheduled for January 2015.

This can go in the non-NPC sorority post...but Omega Phi Alpha currently has colonies at the University of Florida, West Virginia University, and Rutgers University (recolonization)!

Did they have a chapter close recently or is the school/system just growing that much?

I'm sure Florida will attract a lot of interest, but it looks like it's been a while since the last extension. What is the housing situation? My brother-in-law and his brother are PIKEs from Florida, but I don't know anything about the sorority side.

I found drawings for Pi Kapp and Sigma Nu new houses at UF. So idk any details, if they're building on their current sites or new sites and what that would mean for available land.

I think they're just growing. While the chapters aren't massive they certainly are large enough to merit a new chapter if they want things like chapter meetings in the house, a decent percentage of members to live in, etc.

All but 1 group was 200+ (the other was 189) in the Fall. The quotas have consistantly been in the 60s for the last couple of years.
