MISSOULA - A Missoula man pled not guilty to three charges in Missoula Justice Court today for allegedly breaking into a University of Montana sorority house on August 26.
Chase Callen, age 25, was charged with criminal trespassing, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
All three charges are misdemeanors.
Callen's charging documents say he climbed a fire escape and cut through a window screen with a Swiss army knife at Kappa Alpha Theta sorority house.
MiPolice officials say Callen was searching for his ex-girlfriend, who no longer lives at the sorority.
The sorority house mother chased Callen out of the house with a stick.
MPD officers found Callen a short distance away and officers say he appeared to be extremely intoxicated. . . .

Quick judgment is sometimes needed. Is it better / wiser to chase someone with a stick, or to retreat to safety and call 911? The housemother evidently did a fast assessment and went the stick route.
