Talking

This is a great story, and a perfect example that your initial favorites mean so very little. I thought you did a great job of not being mean about any of the houses you visited. However, as a warning to future posters along these lines, you showed too many of your cards. I'm WAAAAY out of college, and I could care less what school you go to or which chapter was which. But some people really do care. The thing is, when chapters have to make cuts, and they do have to get to a certain number every day (that is determined by internal issues, not by campus standards), if you've said something less than stellar about them OR said something that made it look like you already made a decision, they'll cut you to make room for someone who really wants to be there. Every sorority would love to make decisions based on really knowing the PNM's, but the fact is, you can't. You have to go by hunches and odds.

Anyway, you're a great story teller. It would be interesting to follow you through your new member period. Just remember, no secrets and no talking bad about ANY of your sisters, national, the regional advisor, or any of the other chapters. Even when they're huge hags. HA!

Except this thread was not live, so details would not have changed her recruitment outcome since it already happened...a year ago. Your tone (especially the last paragraph) is very patronizing - this is a college woman, not a child, she knows what shouldn't be said.
