Of the info we got throughout this entire first section, all the wand information IS the best—that and the house letters after the Sorting, anyway. (Next for me would be the background info about Professor McGonagall.)

I kinda teared up at that one part (I don't want to say in case people would get mad about spoilers).

Oh!  Yeah, she did have it hard, didn't she? I've always loved Professor McGonagall—it was nice to find out more about her, even if it wasn't all sunshine-and-roses information.
