Yes! Kappa Alpha Theta still owns the facility. It has been leased to Delta Gamma since 2011 (when the chapter was closed).

What does it mean when Union College, which is open for expansion, is "visited" by Alpha Chi Omega, Kappa Delta, and Alpha Epsilon Phi? Are these the groups making formal presentations?
The phrase "visited our campus" is used on both the sorority extension twitter, and the Union Greeks twitter, by Union College itself. The photos shown on instagram appear similar to those seen in other campus presentations.

They could be exploratory visits, which are sometimes made ahead of time when groups are deciding whether to submit a packet -- but I've never heard of those being publicized.

My GLO publishes it when they do a preview visit. So I don't think it's that odd. It could be that or the presentation visit.

Is this beyond DG, or just internally? We keep exploratory visits to internal, "need to know" status...not published. I can think of quite a few reasons why that would be...not wanting to offend the school or disappoint local alumnae if it's decided not to submit a packet, for example.

Alpha Xi Delta keeps this information very close to the vest. But when we announce a new colony it is a HUGE deal. I'm not necessarily a fan of "only good news" information dissemination but I will at least give us credit for consistency.
