Discussing Membership Selection PNM's
I'm currently in the process of NPC recruitment. Going by what I've read in other threads, a chapter's membership selection process is completely confidential.
Long story short, I was in a group with an active and two other PNM's and the active went into the nitty-gritty details about how her chapter makes their bid lists. Is this serious enough that it should be reported to campus Panhellenic, or is it a "pretend-you-heard-nothing" kind of thing?
ETA: Ick, I messed up the title. Apologies

It depends on what she said. If you were at preference and she told you that they list their first choices in alphabetical order and rank everyone from there down, that's not membership selection. That's standard rush procedure and is not a secret. If she was telling you codes they use to abbreviate how they talk about rushees or what their literal voting procedure is (cut head off 1 chicken is yes, cut 2 is no), then she has broken her sorority's rules. But even then my guess would be it's not a rush infraction. It would however be in extremely bad taste and not helpful in swaying a rushee.
If you want to find out if you should narc on the girl, you might find a member of that sorority here on GC and PM her. That way you're not inadvertently sharing something you shouldn't know in the first place.

You don't need to police another org's confidentiality. Let it go.

More along the lines of their literal voting procedure. I'll follow your "PM a member suggestion".

Alright, I just wanted to get the opinions of people more knowledgeable than I on the topic.

To clarify, each org has its own rules on this. Now, I would assume that all orgs want to keep this stuff private, but it's just not a Panhellenic matter (unless your CPH has some kind of rule). It's like if you saw an AEPhi pledge wearing letters. It's a matter for the org itself to handle.

agree that it is something only that sorority should be concerned about. plus, you don't want to be known as a "tattletale" and ruin your chances at a bid from a sorority.
What is AXS?

Approximately 1 second on google reveals: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alpha_Chi_Sigma
The colors match up, so I assume that it is the same organization.

Yep, one and the same. Alpha Chi Sigma is a professional chemistry fraternity (co-ed). Rush eligibility differs from campus to campus, but it mostly depends on how many/which chemistry courses one has taken. Our chapter does have a social and service aspect, but "officially" we're professionally-oriented.
