I dont mean to invade the KKG forum but I am sitting here watching "Revealed with Jules Asner" on E! - and they are interviewing Ashley Judd, who I love because I have met her here in Tennessee but I was reminded that she was one of Kappa's famous members - there is even shots of her in this interview in a KKG sweatshirt

I hope you all can catch the show - she is great!

We are all so proud of Ashley Judd, who was a collegiate KKG at the University of Kentucky, and who is a spectacular alumna!

I saw her in Boston last summer, and she was carrying the blue & blue KKG Kate Spade bag (Kate Spade is also a KKG)--it was too cool!

In a Sex and the City episode, Charlotte goes to visit her Kappa Kappa Gamma sisters... is the woman who plays Charlotte KKG, or was that just a sorority that they picked for her character?

As far as I know, Kristen Davis is not a Kappa, but her character, Charlotte, is. Supposedly Charlotte attended Brown University, but there is no Kappa chapter there.

I have another question about a famous Kappa alum. Is it true that Kate Spade deactivated/went inactive/transferred or something? That is what I was told, so I was wondering if anyone knew if she was an official alum., what chapter she is from and what years she was there. Just curious... fill me in.

Kate Spade was just recently featured in our magazine, The Key, so it is unlikely she's gone inactive. My issue is packed away, otherwise I'd let you know which chapter she initiated at.

Okay, a question...
Is Rebecca Wells (author of "Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood") a KKG?

One more question...I wonder if Candace Bushnell (the lady who wrote the book "Sex and the City" upon which the TV show is based), I wonder if *SHE* is a KKG alumna, hence the connection with Charlotte York being made a KKG? Hmmmm......

I must say, KKG has some very prestigious alumnae, such as Candace Bergen (I loved MURPHY BROWN), and Jane Pauley (news anchor lady) and of course Gena Rowlands, who was not in "YA YA", but was in another Sandra Bullock movie, "Hope Floats"
