I can't believe Joy Behar is 70. She looks good (in a TV, neverseenyouinpersonkindofway) for 70 years of age.

Massive flight delays. Looks like I'm never getting home because the entire Northeast is shut down I just wanted to sleep in my own bed tonight, was that too much to ask?

Disappointment on behalf of your child is so much worse than personal disappointment.

Congrats!

And I've been on GC almost 10 years, since a sophomore in college. Now I'm working at a college watching my students get all geeked about Greek life. SHEESH!

I don't know the details, about a chapter sister on the loss of her 20-something year old son. Her ex-sis in law is also a chapter sister.

My husband needs a class on sensitivity training and he's about to get it-- with my foot teaching his ass.

Hang in there, you'll get there. Just not when you'd hoped.

Yeah, I managed to get on a flight home late tomorrow night after some finangling with the airline rep. It's just so quiet and dead here and the weather is beautiful which is frustrating. My airline seemed to be the only one doing major cancellations early on, and honestly if they had just kept the two and a half hour delay we probably would have been able to take off, no problem.

And this is why I hate having to fly to and from school. And why I was so against it from the beginning of my college search but I just love my school too much.

I understand. I worry about that with my daughter. We get so little time together that I really hope her flights aren't affected by weather. Unless, of course, she gets stuck in Detroit... that would be alright!

They might not have had your plane available. The weather is really bad in some parts of the country so if the plane you were supposed to use got stuck somewhere else, that can mess everything up even if your weather is fine.

Yeah I know what the weather is like, I'm from the area that was under the massive snowstorm. And I'm on the phone with the airline right now because they screwed up my ticket and now I have to fly into an airport over an hour away from home and this whole thing is just endlessly frustrating. I hate United! They are the worst. But it's not like I"m going to pay $500 to change carriers at this point because it's just too much. All I wanted to do was go home And it's a friend's birthday tomorrow and we had all these plans and now I"m not getting home until almost 11pm tomorrow night.
