All of them hurt me if I wear them for more than a couple hours. It's even worse since I broke my foot a couple years ago.

Someone looked at our house tonight. Our realtor texted us a bit ago and said they're between ours and the one across the street.
Whatever form of positivity you believe in, I'd REALLY appreciate it right now. :-)

I found out what my kitty girl cut her foot on, a razor sharp rock in the litter. It was a new brand of litter that clumps wonderfully, but I wasn't too keen on the scent as it lingers. Considering it injured my girl's paw I'm concerned about buying it again and having to run it through a sieve to keep her safe. She has a negative association with the box and went on the floor, so I may just have to give the rest of the litter away if that is how she is going to react to that litter and litter box.
I totally emailed the company to voice my displeasure of injuring my cat and the resulting situation.

I had a fun evening! I had dinner with my sister-mother (Alpha Gam version of Big Sis). Talked on the phone with an interesting man and had a textversation with another. I <3 Comic Sans and might have to post in it all the time due to the above discussion

Two of my former professors from grad/PhD program have strict no phone policies. If you want to text, you have to leave class. If they think a student is texting, he or she is asked to leave class. It's in the syllabus and the university supports it.

LOL I feel you. K Solo is the shit. I used to pump his music, too. I didn't know you even listened to hip hop/rap, I thought you were just into jazz n shit. I remember when I was in undergrad, the Kappas would get a circle going, spinning their canes. There was this one Kappa who had a ride whose sound system cost more than his car LOL. He'd go to pumpin old school hip hop sounds, and some other Kappas would cause a crowd when they would start twirling their canes. I miss those undergrad days.

I also saw you do part of our Founders Step later on when we were joking around and dancing. I saw it. That is why I walked out of the room. You have "one mo' 'gin" and then you and I will have a misunderstanding filled with consequences and repercussions. Okay.

As my grandmother would say, what chutzpah.
In other news, I'm pretty much obsessed with getting waxed...and buying stuff from Bliss afterwards. Oh, I need that lip care set!! No, not really.

I'm so tired from work, that instead of taking a shower, I'm taking a bubble bath.

We got an offer! And we countered. Back to waiting...
Oh yeah, I'm not good at waiting.

I am so tired. After work I took my son shopping to get the rest of the gear he needs for his Boy Scout camping trip to Isle Royale (A national park which is an island in the middle of Lake Superior). He'll be hiking 8-11 miles per day and has to carry all of his gear on his back so he needed a lot of stuff that he didn't need in the past.. 3 lb sleeping bag, 3 lb tent, lightweight hiking pants that zip off to shorts, wicking shirts, hiking sock liners, a light but durable mess kit.. oh so much stuff. 3 stores, 4 hours and about $400 later, we're about done. I need to get him some batteries and he wants a couple disposable cameras but that's all we should have to buy now.

I guess I'm on a Netflix true story marathon. My Netflix thread is going to be pretty busy with my posts on what I'll be watching over the next week. Documentaries and scary movies. All true stories.
