According to Alpha Gamma Delta's website, they will be colonizing at the University of South Carolina in Fall '12.

That is correct - announced several years ago.

They will stay closed under all the current members graduate.

This current action is from the fraternity to pull their charter.

Some recent and future charterings:

Zeta Tau Alpha chartered its colony at Vanderbilt University(TN).

Pi Lambda Phi chartered its colony at Western Carolina University(NC).

Alpha Omicron Pi will charter their colonies at Bryant University(RI) on April 14, Oklahoma State University on April 22, and California State University-San Marcos on May 5.

Sigma Chi will charter their colonies at Loyola University of Chicago and Boise State University(ID) in the upcoming months.

" Pi Beta Phi is excited to announce they will be colonizing at Case Western Reserve University in the fall of 2012. Pi Phi submitted extension materials to the University's expansion committee in 2007 and at that time, was selected as the next chapter to join when the campus was again ready for extension. This spring, they received news from Case Western that their community was ready for a new chapter."
