I just got home from a friend's party. I was absolutely exhausted and didn't really want to go but I've been missing my friends while school was occupying my time and have been dying to see them. It was a puzzle party but I was so tired, I couldn't see straight enough to put more than a few pieces together.

Ended up taking a "nap" at 8ish and woke up at 4:30. Wide awake, so watching some TV and working on fraternity and freelance stuff until work.

4-15 I took both dogs for rattlesnake avoidance training. I wasn't sure that it "took".
It did.
This afternoon, about 1:30 pm, came home to let dogs out. Temp high 90s - not quite 100. Dogs refused to go outside in back yard. Ran out onto patio, turned and ran right back inside. Couldn't understand why.
Smart dogs. 30"+ western diamondback snoozing in a corner of the patio this afternoon after killing and eating something (dove? ground squirrel?). Called the snake removal guy. I thought the snake was dead. Wishful thinking. It was, most definitely, alive.
I can't sleep.

Finished watching the NASCAR race, but now I'm up because I got halfway through the F1 race. I'm hitting the sack. I have to be at work at 8am.
