I have seen this thread on the list ever since I started reading GC, but never read it. OH MY GOD. I was trying to read some of them to my husband, doing the best I could at translation, but just couldn't get it done.
I did have to unfriend someone (high school person I barely new even back then) because of some right-wing diatribe she was on. The rule is USA=free speech. DubaiSis Facebook page =/= free speech. And I have a cousin who is retarded but functional (it's a sad story stemming from child abuse but no need to get into that now) who I had to block because his posts were the most offensive pornographic things I'd ever seen. Can't unfriend him, duh, so I just had to make sure I never see his posts. But shouldn't his Dad be intervening to tell him that isn't cool?
Now, back to hilarity and obnoxiousness. I'll be on the lookout for some awesome ones.

Also, if I see one more "of" where it should be a "have," I don't know how I'm going to hold my tongue.

One of my friends posted a link to a story about a little girl who wrote a letter about how she was going to run away. My friend commented:
"This looks like something I could have composed to my brothers myself circa 1992...however I'd of had no spelling mistakes."

Not a status update, but a post I found on Michele Bachmann's FB page that had me SMH:
The white house gave The Muslim Brotherhood 1.5 billion in Egypt ,they vow to make the world a muslin state and kill jews and christian alike . They are know to be hamas . Can we continue with this guy in the white house any more WAKE UP AMERICA !!!!

Not grammar, but there is someone on my wall right now on such an ironic tirade. Basically along the lines of "I hate people who hate people. Especially Christians, Jews, Muslims and the GOP. They pretend to be holy, but they are all really terrible people who don't practice what the preach. They're not good people like I am. And I'm taking a stand against it!"
I love how "Taking a Stand" in our society has become posting pics on your Facebook wall.
