I don't like traditional images or traditional wedding anything for that matter. I like the style of this photographer. He uses non-traditional lenses and creates a unique look.

She's kind of expensive, but I love Victoria Sprung's work. I really want for her to be our photographer, but we'll see

Talking to a planner friend of mine in CA today about everyone and their mom with a DSLR calling themselves a "photographer" these days and booking weddings. Is this something that everyone is noticing or is it just me? (Usually it's your Uncle Bob.)

Yes! Weddings and senior portraits! I have taught photography for over 15 years and I often get asked by friends and former students to look at the photographers' websites and offer input about them. With all of the photo editing software available, there is no excuse for the lighting or tints being off. I have seen numerous "wedding photographers" who need to learn some white balance.
