I know that badge! It is so simple and pretty, isn't it? PS: Congrats on your badge. May you wear it often!

The Alpha Delta Pi Facebook page is posting different badges, to see how many know which sorority they represent. Today was Theta, and I knew it wasn't a Dyer due to this thread.
GO BADGE TRENDS!!

Has anyone else been reading the NPC facebook page this past week? They're taking a few sororities a day, and talking about their pins. Everyone's bound to learn something new - I found out that there are currently 132 ddifferent ADPi pins available!

That is awesome- thanks for sharing Honey! It looks like the full series is being posted here: http://alphaxideltanpc.blogspot.com/
What a great way to promote and lead up to International Badge Day on Monday!

Interesting. I didn't know that the chapter guard was standard on Phi Sig badges.

SO, Trendies! Which pin or badge will you be sporting on Monday? I'm going to take a walk on the wild side and wear my pin to church on Sunday, too!
Oh, I'm thinking the opal pin, with diamond points on yellow gold. UNLESS I wear my new blue dress, and then it's the alternating sapphires and opals.

I will be wearing my badge on Sunday (our Founder's Day) and Monday for International NPC Badge Day. I will wear the one with pearls that I was initiated with (it has a chapter guard for my chapter on it) and the "special edition" badge I got from National Convention two years ago--I will be wearing that on the badge ring holder--in honor of my Alumna chapter's 90th year and our National Convention this year. I'm so excited!!! Honeychile, I hope you post your badge on your FB page!

I really, really want to start taking some good pictures of my pins, but for some reason, once I put them on my new laptop, I can't post them anywhere else! I did, however, find the name of a techie who will do short tutorials and connect things for a small fee! So, I'm going to make use of him, before he decides to raise his rates! I hope to have the display box back here by next week, too.

I was browsing Tumblr and saw this (apologies if it's been posted before). I know I've seen badges on bouquets and I've seen linked badges, but I don't recall seeing the combination of the two. Oh well, I LOVE IT!

Since it's international badge day, I just wanted to post up these pictures shared by Tri Delta EO of some antique badges. I believe all of these have been shared here before, but here are some updated ones! My favorite is still by far the garnet (my birthstone!) and diamond combination... though I still love our simplistic pearl design.
and the badge of one of our founders, Sarah Ida Shaw.

Seeingstars, if it can be shared, what is the significance of the dangle on the Shaw badge? Did all the founders wear that?

What a lovely display! I have one of those cutout wooden letter pins...bet we're from a similar generation.
Alpha Gam requires that pledge pins be turned in at initiation. Bet Alpha Chi does, too. At one time Alpha Gam had pledge ribbons that were striped: red/yellow/green. But more often chapters bought grosgrain and tied the three colors together.
