I want to become a college admissions counselor at the high school level, so I met with an independent counselor today to talk to him about the field. I found out he was a Phi Kappa Psi at Stanford and his wife was a DG at Southern Methodist. I actually know another DG from SMU (which is a strange connection), but I'm sure they pledged about 10 years apart.

I saw a preview this afternoon for Wednesday's episode of The Doctors. It looks like a group of Gamma Phi Betas are going to be on there asking a question.

I went for a conference about my written mid-term exam and I noticed a Zeta Phi Beta cup on my prof.'s desk. I should have guessed, she's so nice!

Gamma Phi Betas (I forget which school) on The Doctors asking about the longterm effects of botox.
They had the tshirts and the big carved out letters in front of them.

Not letters, but in last night's season finale of Greek during the whole "Song-fest" thing, there were a bunch of balloon arches with TONS of light blue, dark blue, and gold balloons on them

Of course this is public knowledge, but Carrie Underwood is on Regis and Kelly right now and he mentioned her being a Tri-Sigma and how they really got her to break out of her shyness and be able to perform.

Today I saw two Sinfonians in Starbucks (one was wearing his badge)
We also volunteered at an assisted living facility today. One of the residents asked me what the letters on my shirt meant because she couldn't remember. When I told her she said that she used to have a Kappa Sigma pin (from her late husband, a Kappa Sigma from Carnegie Mellon) and that she was in a local sorority there that has since affiliated with a national whose name she couldn't remember.

Saw an Omega Psi Phi front license plate in the parking lot at my b/f's work. Also someone on my plane to RDU was wearing a Phi Theta Kappa shirt.

In Evanston today...a lady with a stroller wearing a Theta hat, a few Alpha Phis at Panera, and a girl with an Alpha Chi at Northwestern bag
