Parent Day Ideas
Does anyone have any good ideas of something to do for mother/daughter or daddy/daughter day? One example is going to a baseball game with dads. I would appreciate any other good ideas of fun activities to do with parents! Thanx!

For father/daughter - you could have a softball game or a volleyball game, and you could do a barbeque or something like that afterwards.

I really like the philanthropy idea! It would definitely help erase some of the negative stereotypes that many parents have about Greeks.

We did this one year with our dads, but it could really be done with mom's, too...we palyed a version of the newlywed games with our dads. The questions were like "What was your dad's first job?" or "How did your mom and dad meet?" (that would be tough, though, if you had a lot of members whose parents were divorced!) or "How many wrecks/tickets has your daughter got" or "What is your favorite color?". It was really funny and a neat way to "bond" with our dads! Then we had a cookout, too!

We had a parents/grandparents day. We reserved a pavilion at a park, everyone brought a dish and we had a bar-be-que. It was a lot of fun. My mom, step-dad, and my grandma and grandpa came. All of the members went around and introduced themselves and their families.
Have a nice day
