Your signature...

Hello all,

If you haven't already, please read the new signature guidelines above.

I brought mine into compliance, then copied the signature from the user cp and pasted it to an e-mail which I sent to myself.

I hope that when John resets the signatures that I will be able to copy the signature from the e-mail and paste it back into the user cp instead of typing everything again.

I'm not entirely sure it will work, but if it does it will save us all some time.

Good luck.

I'm going to "sticky" this to the top of the forum for a couple of weeks.

Saving your signature in Notepad as a .txt file would also work.

So, are you saying that some bad Sigs can be saved for later use?

I beleive John is covering that point of issue soon.

No Tom.

Signatures which go against the guidelines will continue to be deleted. If whoever decides there's abuse decides that the abuse has gone on long enough, they can revoke that user's signature privileges.

So sure, I guess someone with an offending signature could repost that signature, but it would simply be taken down. If that person insists on abusing their privilege, the privilege will be revoked. Simple as that.

Gone are the days when people could use their signatures to attack others.

I was telling DeltAlum (who does not now, nor has he ever to the best of my recollection, had a "bad Sig") that he could save his current good one in Notepad because everyone's is going to get deleted when John resets them.

That is true, and I also never had a crapy Signature about anyone.

I was probably one of the first to set mine by the ADM's way of thinking!

But, thank you for your interest.

Naw. He's been banned. His signature was at least part of the reason.

No, that was his sig. His screen name was Jock16. Which probably says something about his age.
