It could be a new rule from Florida Panhellenic, but our National Organization requires them. I think that I would send one for your friend's daughter because it could not hurt. Where I advised, the university does not allow recommendations, but we still got them and it introduced the PNM to us before recruitment began. We only have two parties before pref; so, it is very helpful to know people before recruitment begins.
