Also saw that, HC on Facebook.

Sadly, we had to put our sweet boy, Peanut, down last Friday. He was 18.5 and his kidneys had shriveled up. He'd been telling us good-bye, but we kept holding out hope. I'm still not over it, nor will I ever be. We buried him with two frogs of our daughter's he loved to carry around the house. In spring, we'll plant something that blooms orange. He was the sweetest kitty ever. He was a long haired orange tabby. He loved everyone.

We lost our Chestnut (at 18--she was my kitty before marriage) due to kidney issues too and planted a white hydrangea over her grave. She had a fluffy white belly so we sought a fluffy white bloom. We still have P's sister and she's thriving. I wonder if she misses him. They've always been together. :'(
