Excerpt from today's Tallahassee Democrat:
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night, guys from Florida State University went to inquire about being in a fraternity during the Interfraternity Council's Rush.
At Heritage Grove, all the fraternity houses were open to the guys who have decided to rush in the spring, a comparatively smaller group than in the fall, when fraternities might add 50 or more members.
The guys, usually freshman, go to the frat houses of their choice, meet the brothers, socialize and ask questions.
The brothers of the 21 fraternities at FSU can decide who they like and give them a bid or formal invitation to join their organization. They had to accept by Thursday or wait until the fall.
