NOTE: There are guidelines that must be followed to affiliate. Here, paraphrased from various NPC member web sites, would be the first step you would need to follow if your group would like to affiliate with an NPC organization.
The National Panhellenic Conference has established some guidelines for expansion on a college campus. There must be approval for a new sorority by the proper authority. The proper authority in most cases is the college Panhellenic on that campus. A local interest group or local sorority must receive the approval of the college Panhellenic (on campuses without a college Panhellenic, the administration is the proper authority) before pursuing affiliation with an NPC member group. If you are thinking of starting a new sorority on your campus, you should contact the Extension Committee of National Panhellenic Conference and this committee will answer any questions that you have based on the specifics of the campus under consideration.
