NALFO Member Organizations Respond to Haiti Earthquake Relief Efforts
January 2010 -
In response to the disastrous 7.0 magnitude earthquake that struck Haiti on Tuesday, January 12, 2010, numerous NALFO member organizations have launched several volunteer and fundraising relief efforts. This devastating earthquake has caused a major catastrophe for the already poor nation of Haiti. This event has called the global community to action and NALFO organizations have responded in this time of sorrow to help those individuals in need.
Across the country, NALFO member organizations have been collecting canned foods, bottled water, clothes, toiletries, first aid supplies and monetary donations.
