Honestly, I don't even think this is news. This has been an ongoing reality where I teach all semester.... One week into the semester, over half the houses were isolating due to positive cases, followed by a quarantine of all Greek houses and apartments, followed by another isolation/quarantine due to another positive case, followed by a state health dept. move to all remote teaching at all Michigan universities as of today.
I think it's been overshadowed by other news, but I think that COVID has been making the rounds all fall.
